Focused too much or not enough?

I was working on a design problem when I looked down at my notebook and noticed that something was a bit off with my pens. I think that’s a good sign that I was focusing a bit too much on the problem.

Smile! It’s broken!

The display on my work phone has been progressively getting worse (I tried changing the batteries — didn’t help), and today it greeted me with a smiley face. Kind of cute, actually.
